*How a disposable vape works, from its parts to the aerosol you inhale.*
A disposable vape is an all-in-one device: battery, coil, e-liquid and mouthpiece are sealed inside one unit. When the e-liquid runs out or the battery dies, you simply replace the device — no refilling, no coil changes, no maintenance.
The four core parts
1. Battery — usually a small lithium battery of 300–1,500 mAh that powers the coil.
2. Coil (heating element) — current passes through the coil, heating the e-liquid around it and turning it into vapor.
3. E-liquid — typically PG (propylene glycol), VG (vegetable glycerin), flavorings and, optionally, nicotine. Capacity is usually 2–20 ml.
4. Mouthpiece and airflow channel — when you draw, air flows past a sensor, through the coil, and carries vapor to the mouthpiece.
How it works
When you draw on the mouthpiece, the airflow sensor detects the pressure change and signals the battery to power the coil. The heated coil vaporizes the e-liquid, the vapor mixes with the incoming air, and you inhale it through the mouthpiece.
What puff counts really mean
Numbers like 9,000 or 25,000 puffs are estimates based on e-liquid volume and vapor per draw — not a guarantee. Actual puff count varies with draw length, device and environment.
What to check before buying
- Puff count: 9,000–12,000 for beginners; 20,000–30,000 for regular users
- Battery capacity: larger lasts longer but is heavier
- E-liquid volume: tied to puff count
- Nicotine strength: choose a level that suits you
- Flavor: fruit, ice or menthol
Safety notes
Keep out of reach of children, avoid high heat and direct sunlight, do not disassemble, and dispose of it according to local rules.
